ICICI Bank has launched the Carbon Credit Card a new
initiative service in order to prevent fraudulent transactions and thereby
enable better security for its customers. It is Asia's first Credit Card with
Visa CodeSure which lets users generate secure One-Time-Passcodes (OTP) for
online transactions instantly on the card itself.

ICICI Bank in
partnership with Visa has launched a “Carbon Credit Card” which is Asia’s first
Credit Card with Visa CodeSure technology. This along with EMV chip technology,
makes the card one of the safest for any usage, especially for online shopping.
The card has an
alpha-numeric LCD screen, a 12-button touch keypad & an in-built battery.
Hence, users can generate a secure One-Time-Passcodes (OTP) for online
transactions instantly on the card itself.
