Vodafone Introduces ICICI Bank Mobile Money Service (M-Pesa) in Mumbai and Delhi

Vodafone India has launched M-Pesa, mobile money transfer and payment service in Delhi, NCR and Mumbai partnered with ICICI Bank. Though the company had already launched the M-Pesa service back in April 2013. Now the Vodafone and ICICI Bank’s new M-Pesa service is now available in Mumbai, Delhi, NCR, Kolkata, West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand and Rajasthan. The M-Pesa service is a great move to transfer and payment via the mobile.


With the Vodafone’s Mobile Money Service (M-Pesa) service, the Vodafone subscribers can payment and transfer their money. It offers a simple and secure way to transfer money and make payments with M-Pesa service.  This service offers unbanked and under serviced sections of the country to gain access to financial services via the mobile phone.

  • Deposit and withdraw cash from designated outlets
  • Transfer money to any mobile phone in India
