Indian government to build 17 new Airports in its 11 State.

The Indian government to build 17 new airports in its 11 states. Here are the list of 17 new airports coming up in India. It is 12th five-Year Plan (2012-17) to build 17 new airports in the country.

Reports said, The Government of India  has proposed to build 17 new Airports in states. Karnataka is to get four airports to come up in Gulbarga, Bijapur, Hassan and Shimoga. Kerala will get 2 Airports in Aranmula and kannpur. Maharashtra will have 3 new airports in Sindhudurg, Navi Mumbai and Shirdi. Apart from this, 8 states to get 1 airport in it state. State Civil Aviation KC Venugopal told Rajya Sabha, “the airports have been proposed for construction in the 12th Five Year Plan.”
