Vodafone is now offering Free twitter access via twitter's mobile website and their official Android App to their subscribers. Vodafone India has partnered with Twitter India to lets Vodafone customers  use Twitter free on their mobile or Android Smartphone. Vodafone India currently offers free Twitter access using mobile for three months without and data pack. Just couple of days back Aircel announced free Wikipedia access on your mobile phone for Free.

It is nice to see that almost every mobile operator now offers free or very cost effective plan offerings for most used social networking sites like Facebook, Twitter, Wikipedia, Whatsapp etc.  No doubt, Social network has great user engagement right now. Many people just want to use social networking site by spending on very cost effective plan. But what If it is free to use some of the social networking site for free. So, this is the main reason why mobile operators offer these plans for fee. By offering such a plan, they successfully got many new customers.

On this Vodafone India-Twitter partnership, Vivek Mathur, Chief Commercial Officer, Vodafone India said, “Vodafone India has always been at the forefront of providing innovative and user friendly mobile internet experience for its customers in India. Our partnership with Twitter and this offering is yet another step in our ongoing endeavour to make mobile internet more fun, smart, engaging and easy”.

So if you are a Vodafone customer go ahead start using Twitter on your mobile or use official twitter app for Android without any cost. You will save some money, but be mindful about browsing on other sites.
