Indian Bank (IB), has announced its recruitment for clerks post. Like other Banks Indian Bank too will appoint employees through IBPS common written exam passed students. Those who had passed this IBPS common exam are eligible for this vacancies.

Indian Bank was established in 1907 about 105 years ago and now it’s one of the leading govt. owned banks in India. It has its head office in Chennai. The bank has more than 18700 employees in 1950 branches across India.

Dates:
Online application registration – From June 29 to July 13, 2012 and Interviews to be held in September 2012
Fee payment date is same to online registration date.

Eligiblity:
As we know, apply for public banks you must  have passed in the IBPS clerk CWE with scorecard.
1.       Age to be minimum 18 years and maximum 28 years (relaxation for OBC – 3 yrs and for /SC/ST – 5 yrs.)
2.       Candidates must passed with 50% marks Intermediate, HSC (10+2) as on August 01, 2011.
3.       Candidate can able to read, write and speak the state’s local language.
4.       Fluency in English is necessary for this post.
5.       A candidate can apply for vacancies in a state where he/she had appeared for IBPS clerk common exam.

Selection:
The selection of this post is depend on no. of vacancies and applications received. The ration of 1:5 for general and 1:7 for others is to be followed.

How To apply:
If you satisfy the eligibility requirement, Print a fee payment challan from Indian Bank website.
·         The fee of Rs. 100 (Others) and Rs. 20 for (SC/ST) can be paid at any branch of IB. Make sure you are not missing anything.
·         Collect the payment receipt from the branch where you have deposit the Challan and visit the site. www.iob.in
·         Enter the all necessary details asked in the online application form before submit.
One more thing never forget to print the system generated application which has to be submitted along with the call letter at the time of interview.
