ISRO. The written exam for ISRO Hindi Typist post was held on 02-02-2013. Candidates
qualified in the written exam, will be called for Interview. So, those

SSC Stenographer Grade C & D Skill Test 2012 | SSC Stenographer Skill Test Dates, Fonts, Dictation, Details for qualified candidates | Stenographer Skill Test for Steno Grade C&D
Staff Selection Commission has declared it’s the Dates and all details about Stenography Test for Steno Grade C and Grad D Examination 2012 for written exam qualified candidates. The result of written examination of the Stenographer Grade (C&D) 2012 has already published on 27th August 2012. Those candidates who have qualified would be called for Skill Tests for the post of SSC Stenographer Grade C&D. Check out the guidelines for Stenographer Skill Test Grade C&D 2012.
SSC Stenographer Skill Test 2012 – Dates:
· The Stenographer Test for Steno Grade D candidates is scheduled to be held from from 29th Sept, 2012 to 26th Oct.2012
· The Stenographer Test for Steno Grade C candidates is scheduled to be held from from 30th Oct,2012 to 2nd Nov,2012
SSC Stenographer Skill Test 2012 – Call Letters
· SSC has started providing the call letters including instructions to the candidates.
SSC Stenographer Skill Test 2012 – Guidelines:
· The Skill Test in stenography would be qualifying in nature.
· The candidates will be given one dictation for 10 minutes in English/Hindi at the Speed of 80 w.p.m. for the post of Stenographer Grade ‘D' and 100 w.p.m.for the post of Stenographer Grade ‘C'
Note: VH candidates will be required to transcribe the matter in 75 minutes for English Shorthand and in 100 minutes for Hindi Shorthand for the post of Stenographer Grade ‘D‘ and in 70 minutes for English Shorthand test and in 95 minutes for Hindi Shorthand test for the post of Stenographer Grade ‘C‘.
· The transcription of dictated passage will be allowed on computers only.
· There is no exemption from Skill Test for any category of candidates.
· If the candidates had not indicated the medium of Stenography Test at relevant place in the application form, the Commission will consider English as the medium of Stenography Test for such candidates and the candidates will not be allowed to change the medium.
· The Skill Test in Hindi will be conducted using Mangal font & Remington/ Inscript (modified) keyboard.
· All candidates appearing for stenography test should bring their original educational, caste, PH and other certificates along with attested photocopies, failing which, such candidates shall not be allowed to appear for their steno test.

Candidates who obtain the qualifying marks in the written examination
of SSC Stenographer which was held on 29 July 2012 will only be called for the Stenography
Skill Test. Check out the pattern / Structure of Stenography Skill Test 2012
The candidates will have to appear for the stenography test
after qualified for Written Exam. The candidate will be given one dictation for
10 minutes in English or Hindi at the speed of 100 w.p.m for the post of
Stenographer Grade ‘C’ and 80 w.p.m for the post of Stenographer Grade ‘D’.
Then They will be given to transcribe it on computer only. Here is the full detail

Note:
1.
If the candidate do not indicate the medium of
Stenography Test, It will consider ‘English’ as the medium of Stenography Test.
2.
Candidates who opt to take the Stenography Test
in Hindi will be required to learn English Stenography after their appointment.
3.
VH candidates will be required to transcribe the
matter in 75 minutes for English Shorthand and 70 minutes for English Shorthand
for Grade ‘D’ and 95 minutes for Hindi Shorthand test for the post of
Stenographer Grade ‘C’.
